Software Developer – C#

 This is a fantastic opportunity for you, a Software Developer with strong C# skills, to join a leading and long-established organisation as their dedicated Software Developer coding mainly in C#

As the Software Developer, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, auditing and improving systems to meet the particular needs and strategic direction across the organisation. Much of the work for this role will be project based, meaning there is huge opportunity to put your own stamp on the company.

Responsibilities and Duties for the Software Developer

  • Write, test and refine code, including rewriting as necessary
  • Research, design and write new software programs
  • Develop existing programs by analyzing and identifying areas for modification
  • Write systems to control access and all aspects of tasks
  • Analyse user requirements whilst evaluating the software and systems implemented
  • Maintain systems by monitoring and correcting software defects
  • Integrate existing software products and enable incompatible platforms to work together via new technologies where required

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Essential:

o Knowledge and practical experience of software development

o Experienced user of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Adobe Reader, and internet accessed search engines

 

  • Desirable:

o Commercial awareness

o Organisational/administrative skills

o Competent with Microsoft.net framework using C# language

o Degree/post graduate in a relevant IT qualification or equivalent vocational experience
