2nd Line Support Engineer – Desktop Support Engineer
High Wycombe and London
Circa £30,000 to £35,000 + Benefits
This is a fantastic opportunity for you, an experienced 2nd line Support Engineer / Desktop Support Engineer to join a leading IT Support company, to provide high level 2nd line support to their external clients. The roll is split between covering client sites (85% of your time) including some in London, and the HQ in High Wycombe (15% of your time).
You must be happy to travel and have a full UK driving licence
You will be involved in all aspects of the day to day IT Support for a wide range medium to large businesses. This will include:
- Desktop support
- Use of VMWare and virtualisation technologies
- Support of Active Directory and Exchange
- Providing technical assistance in all IT matters
- Support of VOIP technology
- Support of Office 365
- Server administration - Active Directory
You will be working as part of a team and will become a key member, able to assist in all technical matters, as well as contributing ideas for strategy and problem management.
In order to be successful in your application for the 2nd Line Support Engineer / Desktop Support Engineer, you should have strong skills in:
- MS Office 2007.2013, Office 365
- Active Directory and Exchange
- Windows 7 and 8 / 8.1
- Sharepoint / SQL /MySQL
- Full UK Driving Licence.
