This is an outstanding opportunity for you, an experienced IT Support Engineer, to join a leading organisation’s busy IT department in Central London (EC2).

About the role

The IT Support Engineer, is a varied role where you will be supporting the IT Strategy Manager, working alongside the business to communicate knowledge of Company-supported tools, with a focus on improving overall business IT experience.

Your main responsibilities will include daily support incidents from staff and other stakeholders via our ticket desk. This will include:

  • Desktop Support and Troubleshooting
  • Server Troubleshooting
  • Working with our infrastructure suppliers to resolve issues
  • Rollout upgrades
  • Hardware/software installation,
  • Maintaining AV in meeting rooms (and supporting staff with AV facilities)
  • Creating/resetting software accounts for external stakeholders.
  •  A salary up to a £35k (depending on relevant knowledge, skills and experience)

About you
In order to be successful in your application for the IT Support Engineer you need:

  • Two+ years’ experience of working on a service desk conducting 1st/2nd line tasks
  • A good working knowledge of:
    • Windows 10 and Remote Desktop Services
    • Office 2013 / 2016
    • Exchange 2010 (desirable)
    • Active Directory
    • Network technology
    • Audio Visual Equipment
    • Mobile Devices
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Positive attitude to change
  • Experience of service desk support
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High degree of self-management
  • Excellent customer service skills
